Why are we here?
What's the point of life?
Most people say they want to be or become content and happy.
But why aren't so many?
They don't have a basic understanding:
Laughter is happiness!
The Japanese say: "Happiness comes to those who laugh." And Hape Kerkeling, a Dutch comedian, put it in a nutshell: "Laughter is like eating a portion of happiness." When I travel, I always notice that there are countries where there is not much laughter and many people walk around with a rather pinched face. And there are countries where people are more open, cheerful and positive. So laughter is culturally anchored differently in the countries of this beautiful world, but there is one good message:
You can bring laughter into your life anywhere in this beautiful world.
Everywhere?
I am often asked why I usually look friendly, smile or laugh. Because I'm content and happy – and you should be too. And if you're not yet, you should be as soon as possible – because laughter is happiness!
I'm content and happy even when most other people think it's crazy and completely inappropriate. But because of this attitude, I experience life in a much more positive, much more relaxed and much more beautiful way than many other people.
Laughter and happiness are a bit like the chicken or the egg problem – which comes first? While the chicken or the egg question can't really be answered, the answer to laughter and happiness is much simpler.
Many people believe that they have nothing to laugh about. They are not happy, they have no happiness – so there is nothing to laugh about. They have to keep their hackles up and continue to suffer, life is already a burden. It seems like everyone else is doing just fine, except me!
Sometimes I get the feeling that some people are more focused on problems than on happiness. Problem-finders tend to see the negative aspects of things and people, while happiness-finders tend to see the positive. This means that happiness-finders have more to laugh about.
What does this tell us?
Those who wait for happiness and contentment may wait too long and miss out on life. If you can't enjoy the moment, you'll always have a sad past and an equally sad future. You attract what you think. It's a fundamental lesson from the laws of life, which we'll discuss in detail here in the future. If you're not happy and content, you can't attract happiness or contentment. The universe won't provide you with anything! Happiness and contentment is a question of your mindset. You decide for yourself every day whether you're happy and content and can laugh.
Or, you could say, once and for all.
This is where laughter comes into play! Have you ever laughed or smiled and been in a bad mood or had bad thoughts? Do you notice anything? You can't smile or laugh and be in a bad mood, it simply doesn't work.
My dear professional pessimists are now calling out to me: "Yes, but that's just an act. It doesn't come from the heart when I'm always smiling or laughing!"
You're right!
The professional pessimist now thinks, "Great, then I can leave it alone." And this is exactly where the daily mental garbage of so many people begins – they are not prepared to give laughter a chance.
A person who laughs a lot and regularly can't help but let their bad mood fade and get into a positive mood. This is the starting point for happiness and contentment – for everyone. Smiling and laughing regularly has a positive effect on the subconscious. Those who smile and laugh don't produce mental waste. So make sure that the laughter or smile never disappears from your face.
NEVER!
This gives you a very good starting point for a life in which your environment only perceives you in a positive and motivating way. Laughter makes you a crosser of all limitations!
Guaranteed and promised!
And you’ll see yourself as a limitations crosser every day, getting better and better and you will understand:
The best is yet to come!
