What does
FEEL: Find – Experience – Eliminate or Erase – Let go
mean?
I am asked this again and again.
It is no coincidence that the method is called FEEL because feeling is the basis of this concept, which I also describe as the Circle of Life (which is endless) or the Path of Life. Your Path to Yourself is the tool with fifteen steps that enable you to walk this path.
I finally recognized the pattern underlying FEEL around the turn of the millennium. When I stopped being a manager and became an entrepreneur, I developed it into a concept for action. Since then, I have consciously practiced it every day and have been passing it on to other people for about 20 years.
At first, I didn't realize the pattern when I wondered why I wanted to become an entrepreneur. I searched for the pattern behind my actions up to that point and found that I had unconsciously followed a cycle throughout my life that always ran in the same way. In a sense, I found the blueprint of my private and professional life (unconsciously, I have always passed it on this way).
Until I realized this, I had always—unconsciously—lived my life according to the pattern of the FEEL method, from the decision to go to school only on the side and rather work than go to school to my last job as a managing director, from the first time I bought a car to the time I bought my first house (without a penny of equity, that was still possible in 1987), from the decision to build relationships to the decision to end relationships.
Always.
The North Star, or the purpose of my life, is freedom and independence, which is why I no longer live in Germany and have left Germany forever behind. Those who love and need freedom and independence are very sensitive to limits and restrictions. In this respect, I have sought, questioned, and mostly not accepted limits for as long as I can remember. My motto was and is always: There's no such thing as can't.
I realized that I have been looking for limits all my life—limits that restrict me, limits that hurt, unjust limits. I realized that I am constantly FINDING limits. This is not difficult if you go through your life consciously and attentively. Unfortunately, many people do not do this and then complain about the hamster wheel they are running in.
A limit is not bad if you don't know it or don't know that it affects you in any way. Limits per se are neither positive nor negative; they are just as important or unimportant as a curb or a roof tile.
All things in life become essential or unimportant through the meaning you give them.
Looking back, I realized that I only perceived the limits in my life as such because I attached importance to them. This allowed me to EXPERIENCE the limits in my life.
The experience of a boundary can be positive, negative, or neutral. Experiencing a boundary makes it possible to evaluate it, which is then the basis for deciding how to deal with it.

In retrospect, I realized that – unconsciously – I only ever crossed the essential boundaries for my personal development. I, against the strong resistance of my parents, skipped school at 14 and worked all night long. That was important to me. Otherwise, I rarely argued with my parents and accepted their thinking within their limits – it didn't hurt me. The arc stretched to my last management position, where I was confronted with corruption and fraud on a significant scale. This was unacceptable, so I had to act to preserve my integrity.
The experience of limits enabled me to erase these limits and ELIMINATE or ERASE them from my life. LIVE WITHOUT LIMITS means crossing boundaries. Crossing the border ends the effect of the border, erasing it and removing it from life.
In terms of the examples, this means that my parents forbade me from going to work and neglecting school. I ignored the ban because I had to go my way in life; I crossed the line. The company where I last worked had a corporate culture based on dishonesty and fraud. I crossed the boundary of this corporate culture by standing by my values and eradicating this culture, even if I was fired in the end.
In retrospect, however, I also realized that removing the boundary had never been the last step when I had successfully crossed boundaries. There were also boundaries in my life that I had crossed multiple times and again and again.
Why?
I realized that I had only really crossed a boundary when I had left it behind me, when I had let it go.
LETTING GO is the final point in the FEEL method.
No looking back, no thinking, no "what ifs".
Life is lived. You cannot repeat it.
Letting go is what makes the FEEL method possible in the first place.

Once you have found and crossed your first limit (boundary), you will find the next limit. And the next. And another. That's why I also call the FEEL method the path of life or the endless circle of life. Crossing boundaries to LIVE WITHOUT LIMITS never stops. It is an attitude that makes you permanently free and independent.
Since then, I have lived my whole life using the FEEL method. From divorce to emigration, from starting a business to closing it down, I have found my limits throughout my life, experienced them, got to know them, evaluated them, crossed them, and left them behind.
Soon after discovering the FEEL method, I realized that this concept of action is universal and can help everyone. I found that FEEL can be excellently integrated with the laws of life and, ultimately, represents a concrete implementation of these laws.
That is why I started sharing this knowledge 20 years ago and systematizing its dissemination. The beauty of FEEL is that anyone who embraces it can learn FEEL. Over the past 20 years, I have developed a reliable toolset that enables everyone to bring FEEL into their lives.
Over the past 20 years, I have been able to pass on FEEL in countless coaching and training sessions to executives and investors, and have repeatedly experienced the eureka moment in these people. I have learned that most people find the beginning and the end of the method difficult at first. The "F" often takes a long search for one or the other, and the "L" is much more difficult for many people at the beginning than they want to or can admit.
But in the end, I always hear:
It works!
I am free!
I am independent!
I feel like I was born again!
Sounds good?
It's good!
